7 step outline

1. the setup: The protagonist is a state trooper by the name of Arcot ‘Thorny’ Ramathorn. He often gets mistaken for being Mexican when he is not. He and his fellow officers love playing pranks and playing games with suspects. he and his fellow officers are trying to save there jobs from the local cops by solving a crime of a local drug ring. He has to save his job in order to stay in the town and not move away from his family.

2. inciting incident: The local police are trying to steal there jobs and take over there part of town.

3. act 1: turning point. The government is threatening to shut down there station leaving the local cops to take over.

4. mid point: They find a dead woman In a Winnebago and get into a brawl with the local cops and it now makes them look worse.

5. act2 tp: They find drugs in the back of a truck with the same logo of it that was tattooed on the dead woman.

6. act3. The local cops are still tryin to take there jobs and new cop “rabbit” thought it would be fun to do a prank on his fellow officers at the wrong time.

7. they discover the local cops are in on the drug ring and set up to bust them.
